I didn't get any of those things from this book. People should be literally chocking on the pheromones you and this person give off when they are in the same room as the two of you. I mean, if you're going to risk your friendship shouldn't the chemistry be out of control? Shouldn't the sexual tension be thick enough to cut with a chainsaw. And then all of a sudden you're having sex? Really? And it wasn't even good sex to boot.(at least not in my opinion.) To put it simply, the sex scenes were sub par. I mean, in the beginning of the book they go on and on about how they have never seen each other as sexual beings and he's more like a brother and she's this annoying sister he's never had and blah, blah, blah. I'm sure it gets all angsty toward the middle and blah, blah, blah, but I couldn't even finish it. Any who, this book just missed the mark for me. I know its a line that some wouldn't cross, but that's never really been my issue. I've always liked the concept of friends becoming lovers. (shrugs) Meh.This book just didn't do it for me like at all.
